Privacy Policy
Last updated 30 July 2026
This policy covers PsyntaxLabs Academy (operated by Psyntax Labs Ltd, Company No. 11993901) and this website. It explains what data this site collects, why, and how you can control it. It doesn't cover the individual student-built apps showcased on this site, each of which links to its own privacy policy on its own page, since their data practices are theirs, not ours.
Data we collect
Newsletter: if you subscribe, we collect your email address. That's the only field the signup form asks for.
Analytics: like most websites, we use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use the site (pages viewed, general location, device type). This data is aggregated and isn't used to identify you personally.
We don't collect names, phone numbers, or payment details through this website. Enquiries and bookings happen through Google Calendar and WhatsApp, which have their own privacy terms.
Why we collect it
Your email is used to send the newsletter you signed up for, roughly weekly, and for nothing else. We don't sell or share it, and we don't use it for anything beyond that newsletter.
Analytics data helps us understand which pages are useful and which aren't, so we can improve the site.
Who processes it
Newsletter emails are sent and the subscriber list is held by Beehiiv, our email newsletter provider, on our behalf.
Analytics data is processed by Google Analytics.
Neither company is permitted to use your data for their own purposes beyond providing that service to us.
Consent and your rights
Newsletter subscription is opt-in: you confirm your email address before you're added to the list (double opt-in), and every email includes an unsubscribe link that takes effect immediately.
You can ask what data we hold about you, or ask us to delete it, at any time by emailing the address below. We'll respond within a reasonable time.
This site and the data it collects are governed by UK GDPR and the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations (PECR).
Children's privacy
This website's newsletter is intended for parents and guardians, not children. The academy programme itself serves students aged 11–19, but that relationship, and any data collected as part of enrolment, is handled separately and directly with families, not through this website's newsletter or analytics.
Changes to this policy
This policy may be updated from time to time. The date at the top of this page reflects the most recent change.
